West Thames College

This is a student resource for the Photography students at West Thames College.

The qualification is a UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography.  The course is split into two years and each year is an individual course in its own right. Year 1 you will receive a Level 3 Diploma in Photography and in Year 2 you will receive the full Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography. This two-year course is equivalent to three A-Levels and offers you the opportunity to carry out introductory work in art and design, specialising in photography. You will work in the college’s new darkroom and media suite, develop studio and location practice, get involved in photographic styling and developing sets, and learn to manipulate images with computers and produce stop motion animation … to name just a few! Diploma in Photography course at West Thames College.
