Presentation & Critiques

How to Participate in Critiques

You will present your work in progress to your peers and ask for targeted feedback in order to make improvements. You will remind us of your original idea/concept; you will explain if anything has changed to your original idea; you will present a selection of images from your contact sheets include location research and model casting if appropriate; you will present what you propose to be “good” or “developmental images” from each shoot you have completed. You might be able to present editing you have completed or images that you have refined. You will ask 3 questions of your choice to your peers about your work and you will record the feedback in your reflective journal. You will need to react to any feedback that was given to you and by the next critique we should see some alterations or improvements.

CRITIQUE #2

At this critique you will be to remind us of your project and concept and explain if anything has changed from your original idea. You will need to tell us what we told you at your last critique and explain how you reacted to the feedback. You will need to show us any specific improvements that you made based on the feedback. Then show us your current work in progress, just as above. You will ask 3 questions of your peers for feedback. This critique is more focused on giving feedback on how to finish your project and how to select the best images before your final assessment which is w/c 1st June.
